Today again

I really do not want to say much with regards to 9/11. It makes me feel empty.

I’ll let someone else say what I couldn’t.

From: mattewgood.org

“Today is September 11th. I needn’t remind you of what happened on this day four years ago. I suppose I could remind you that the tragedy of that day was used to manipulate the American people into going to war, and has been used since to help sustain public support for it. But to be honest with you, Americans only have themselves to blame for being so malleable and unable to properly hold accountable those that have employed falsehoods to further a reckless foreign policy agenda.
If approximately 3,000 Americans died on this day four years ago because of the actions of a group of murderers, how should we characterize what has happened to the tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis that have died since March of 2003? Ultimately, they are victims of September 11th as well, just at the hands of a different group of murderers.
Four years after the fact, September 11th continues to claim lives.”

My thoughts and prayers have been with so many of you as of late. And sadly, 9/11 is only a small piece of the enormous pie.
